Several cases will be presented in depth with detail about treatment, including medical considerations and medications. Behavior modification plans will be discussed and reinforced with video presentations will show how to actually teach the behavior. There will also be discussion of how the behavior problems presented could have been avoided in the first place.

Feline Nutrition: Role of Diet in Obesity, GI Disease and FLUTD

Challenging Cases in Feline Medicine: An Interactive Discussion

Diagnosis of feline diseases and syndromes is often challenging. The clinical signs of many diseases overlap, and diseases formerly felt to be rare are probably more common than expected. This session will use a series of case presentations to illustrate the diagnosis and management of diseases involving different body systems.

From Horses to Zebras: Common and Uncommon Infectious Diseases

This case-based presentation will describe various infectious diseases, interesting or unusual aspects of common diseases and emerging or rare diseases. Selected topics will cover animal and human health implications, with an emphasis on interspecies transmission of infectious diseases, both animal-human and human-animal.
