Kristina Palmer-Holtry, RVT

Kristina has been a Registered Veterinary Technician with the state of California since 1989. Kristina has worked in the field of veterinary medicine since 1983 in private practice and at the University of California @ Davis, Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital since 1989. Over the years Kristina has worked primarily in the Companion Avian & Exotic Pet Medicine & Surgery and Zoological Medicine Services and a large variety of unique, exotic patients. Her main focus is nursing and anesthesia for these exotic pets and teaching and guiding the many veterinary students and residents that come through the service every year. Kristina was featured on the cover of Veterinary Technician Magazine in May of 2004, has published articles and currently serves as an editor for that publication. Kristina looks forward to many more years in this field, teaching veterinary students and residents the skills required for working with these fascinating creatures.
